Loafer or loner – a look at cat personalities

07 December 2018

What cat personality best suits you and your lifestyle? Find out which cat breed is for you:

Lone rangers

For those who have a lot going on in their lives, Norwegian Forest cats and Russian Blues are great independent companions. They don’t demand much socialising and will rarely initiate cuddling.

Happy chappies

Manx and Burmese are very friendly, playful and most likely to join the company of friends and family. They love a good cuddle and will often seek out affection.

Adventure seekers

Gentle Japanese Bobtails are confident companions for those who are always on the move, as these kitties can adapt to new environments easily. They’re happiest when they can explore the world around them.

Boss in boots

Some cats prefer to take charge and demand plenty of attention, like Turkish Angoras and Singapuras. Prepare to meet your match if you’re equally determined and like to have things a certain way at home.

Couch potatoes

Placid and happy to simply relax, Birman cats and Ragdolls are some of the most popular breeds because of their calm nature. They don’t need a ton of attention to keep them happy – a cuddle on the couch will do just fine.
